From Lagos to London, the journey of The Vibes DJ Academy has evolved from a local studio initiative into a globally registered online institution, now delivering accessible and culturally-rich DJ and music production education to learners worldwide. Founded by established DJs and music entrepreneurs OnlyOneMassive and DJ Consequence,
The Vibes DJ Academy & Studio Ltd is now fully incorporated in the United Kingdom (Company No. 16381456). While its registered office is located in Covent Garden, London, the academy operates fully online, it offers virtual access to courses for aspiring DJs, producers, and creatives across continents.
From Studio Origins to International Academy
The foundation was laid in 2018 when The Vibes Studio opened in Lagos, Nigeria, primarily as a music production and artist collaboration space. By 2021, due to increasing demand for structured creative training, it evolved into The Vibes DJ Academy & Studio, expanding its offerings to include formal DJ instruction, music production education, and industry mentorship. Since then, the academy has supported the development of over 500 DJs and music producers,
many of whom have gone on to perform at live events, release original music, and establish their presence in the industry.
Online Learning with a Global Perspective
Now launched in the UK, The Vibes DJ Academy offers a fully virtual learning model that
supports students from anywhere in the world. The academy’s approach is rooted in cultural
diversity, genre versatility, and practical career preparation combining international standards
with a strong emphasis on creativity, community, and adaptability.

Meet the Founders
OnlyOneMassive (Ayodeji Adetiloye)
A UK-based Nigerian DJ, producer, and educator with over 13 years of international experience. He began his journey as an open-format DJ, mastering a wide range of genres including Afrobeats, before developing a strong focus on Afrohouse, Afrotech, and electronic music. While his recent work highlights underground and electronic styles, he continues to draw from his open-format roots to teach diverse DJ techniques and cultural transitions. In 2024, he was
appointed as the global launch artist for Pioneer DJ’s GRV6 controller and currently serves as the African Ambassador & Music Curator for Heavy Hits DJ Pool (New York).
DJ Consequence (Pelumi Precious Akeredolu)
A Nigerian-born DJ, producer, and nightlife curator with over 13 years of experience, DJ Consequence is widely known for his high-impact sets and genre-blending performance style. He has played at major events across Africa, Europe, and North America, including Flytime Fest, Coke Studio, and Big Brother Naija, and shared stages with artists such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tiwa Savage. A multiple-time recipient of the Best DJ in Nigeria award, he brings deep expertise in Afrobeats, Amapiano, and contemporary African club sounds. He is also the founder of ZeroGravity Lagos, a showcase platform that promotes emerging talent and curates next-generation music experiences.
